Knicks Basketball Clinics
Knicks Basketball Clinics create an opportunity for basketball fans to participate and learn the concepts of Knicks basketball in an area near you. Clinics focus on helping athletes improve their skills and develop their overall basketball games by teaching basic practice drills and emphasizing the fundamentals.
Clinics will be taught by the Knicks Field Marketing staff, local basketball coaches, and basketball legends John Starks and Kym Hampton. Past clinics have included guest lecturers from the front office, the Knicks current roster, and alumni.

Knicks Basketball Camp provides boys and girls ages 8-18 with a structured basketball learning experience that encourages team participation and personal development. The Summer of 2008 will focus on individual skills sessions emphasizing offense, defense, shooting and game fundamentals. Campers receive personal basketball instruction by current and former Knicks players & coaches with camp sessions at Pace University in Westchester, Hunter College / Basketball City in Manhattan, as well as sessions at the Hayground School in Bridgehampton, Long Island "The Hamptons." All Campers receive a Knicks camp uniform by Zipwayworldwide.com: a reversable mesh tank top and shorts. During the summer of 2007, current and former Knicks who visited camp included David Lee, Nate Robinson, Quentin Richardson, Renaldo Balkman, Wilson Chandler, coaches Herb Williams & Mark Aguirre and former players Allan Houston, John Starks, Jerome Williams, Charles Smith & Kenny Walker. The NYK Groove Truck presented by Capital One Bank, drives the excitement of the Knicks to both community and private events for basketball clinics, skill competitions, XBOX 360 video game tournaments and free throw and 3-point shooting contests with cool Knicks prizes! The 2008-09 Groove Truck will be appearing at street fairs, schools, basketball tournaments and other events to bring excitement and show Knicks support for community events. The Groove Truck is also available for private events, birthday parties and all special occasions. Junior Knicks League presented by Sprite and Foot Locker
The New York Knicks, partnering with legendary CITY WIDE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION, Inc. are producing a summer youth division (for boys and girls ages 8 - 16) of the Jr. Knicks program presented by Sprite and Footlocker for 2,000 children on weekends from July 12, 2008 through Labor Day.
